Ingredientes:
6 egg yolks
6 gemas de ovo
100g of white sugar
100g de açúcar branco
300g of cream
300g de natas
2 oranges
2 laranjas
100ml of orange juice
100ml de sumo de laranja
20g of corn starch
20g de maizena
Brown Sugar
Açúcar mascavado
Method:
Preparação:
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar untill a thick cream is obtained.
Numa tigela, bata as gemas com o açúcar até um creme espesso.
Add the cream, the orange juice and the corn starch and place at a low heat, mixing continuously untill a thick cream is obtained and never allowing to boil.
Adicione as natas, o sumo de laranja e a maizena e leve a lume brando, mexendo sempre, até obter um creme espesso sem deixar levantar fervura.
Once the cream is ready place in in a low pie shaped tray to go in the oven.
Quando o creme estiver pronto coloque o numa tarteira de ir ao forno.
Peel the oranges and slice them into circles placing them over the cream.
Descasque as duas laranjas e corte as rodela distribuindo por cima do creme.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Polvilhe com açúcar mascavado.
Place in the pre-heated oven at 200ºC for 10 minutes.
Leve ao forno pre-aquecido a 200ºC durante 10 minutos.
Trick: Serve warm in small mousse like cups, with orange zest and orange flavoured chocolate.
Trick: Sirva morno em pequenos copos de mousse, com raspa de laranja ou chocolate com sabor a laranja.
